Lydia Sloley Is The Model For The Supernatural Woman

By Danielle Galloway

In 1982 Rev. Lydia Sloley accepted Jesus Christ into her life, this helped her remove herself from an abusive husband who was a Vietnam vet. She was presented with the poetic-prophetic perspective and soon after was proclaimed a Prophet in 1997 and later an Apostle in 2011. She not only embodies empowerment she makes it her mission to empower people through living Godly lives.

After graduating from the National Broadcasting School, Rev. Sloley started her own radio show called Life In Its Poetic Form, followed by a cable television talk show by the same name. The talk show focuses on encouraging people to integrate Christian principles into every day experiences to live more inspired, happy, and fulfilling lives. She founded and presides over Life In Its Poetic Form Christian Ministries in Brooklyn, New York as lead pastor.

Taking her journey using her poetic-prophetic perspective Rev. Sloley wrote five books of poems. Covering topics such as challenges, relationships, self discovery, managing emotions, and inspiration in her books is just one of the ways she has touch lives. She also offers Poetry Empowerment workshops that inspire others to utilize poetry to express themselves.

The Fountain of Youth Called Truth was her first inspirational novel written in 2006. The book emphasizes creating a great inner truth will produce an outer beauty. Lydia educates her readers by teaching them that following the Lord will turn into inner peace. In turn, that will greatly diminish stress and strengthen the body.

In her upcoming book, Supernatural Woman, Rev. Sloley speaks to women about life empowerment through developing and maintaining a Christ-mind. She encourages women to live in the moment and refuse to keep repeating the life stories of the past. Living as supernatural women leads to finding peace, quieting the mind, and creating a life of purpose.

After expressing her knowledge through book and poetry Sloley went a step further and created a song, Supernatural Woman. It is an uplifting song that is sung by a truly talented vocalist, Esprit Parker and talks about a woman taking hardships and turning them around through Divine love. The message of the song simply is that there is no obstacle to big to overcome when you follow Christian principles.

Lydia also has a website, Supernatural Lifestyles that focuses on empowering and inspiring women by using Christian principles in their every day lives. On her website she has downloadable talks on topics important to women who are spiritual. She also has her books, the song Supernatural Woman, and a Supernatural Woman shirt available on her website. Although women our her main audience she has plans to expand her website material to include everyone.

Rev. Lydia Sloley is a traveling pastor who is available to speak by invitation.
