Some Signs Of Domestic Abuse

Domestic abuse is characterized be a pattern of human behavior that would include some forms of abuse. This is often done to a partner or other people who are bonded by a certain relationship such as dating, marriage and other family members as well. This problem has been common in most situations, but are often denied, excused and overlooked. This is definitely true for most situations where damage is done psychologically.

Everyone is entitled to live freely and without the fear of loving a person. If you have noticed and seen some signs of a very abusive relationship, you should always take a stand and find your way to stop it. If in case you happen to know anyone who are having signs of it, extend your help before you run out of time.

The most visible sign of an abuse is when you begin to fear your partner. When you feel that you are unsecured and uncomfortable living with them, there is indeed a problem. It might be characterized by isolation, intrusion, jealousy, possession and too much controlling as well.

A possible batterer may have his reasons. Jealousy might be on top of it. Such people often misunderstand jealousy and love. They control the behavior of the victim entirely. They do not allow them to see them giving time for others. They may even ask some close friends to look over the innocent victim unknowingly whenever he or she would go out.

A victim may always be accused of cheating or being so disloyal. Batterers will often want their partners to drop all their male or female friends or maybe shows up at the place of work because of suspiciousness. You would definitely deserve someone who would respect, trust and listen to you than have this form of intruding your privacy.

If you happen to notice that such people are starting to threaten you and everybody around you, maybe you should consider staying away of the relationship before it gets worse. They can start with some forms of shouting and screaming, but later on, it would step up to another level of life threatening activities. They might even use care for their weapon by simply threatening themselves.

When your partner starts to isolate you from the realities of the world, you should always think properly. They might even force you to abandon some people just because they do not like them entering into your lives. They would not permit you to go out as well. Always seek help in these situations and look for someone who can support you throughout.

Some may even stalk you to each place that you want to go. Having a stalker is not flattering, instead it would be terrifying. You would certainly live with fear for the rest of your life. Take note that stalking is definitely a crime. If possible, report such incidents quickly.

Domestic abuse will often lead to burning, cutting, biting and other physical abuses that could be done. Everyone is much deserving of living a life that is free from intimidation and violence. If you have an abusive partner, you will never obtain it. Do not hesitate to stand up for yourself and speak freely. If necessary, discuss matters calmly together with your partner to avoid ending up to other forms of abuse.
