Know what are the skills and techniques you have to learn and mater first before you can get everything presented the proper way. Take up classes discussing about these. Join forums and groups that tackle these subject too. Thus, you are sure that you get as much help as you possibly can.

Get things presented through your own eyes, through your own account. You need to present things from your very own point of view. This is something that occurred to you. This about a specific event that unfolded in your life. So, you know that you are the only one who can get these events presented the way you want them to get presented. Hence, learn how to get things written in a more personal note.

Keep the audience that you are writing this piece for. You need to know that in learning about how to write a memoir, the people whom you are writing the piece for maters a lot. They have to be your goal. They have to be the direction to which you are going to steer the whole composition to. After all, they are the one who will judge the composition in the event.
